RGL ANNUAL MEETINGS - 2010
The Annual Meetings of the Regional
Grand Lodge/Chapter/Mark Lodge of Eastern India will be held on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st February
2010 at Gorakhpur as follows:
Venue: Freemasons Hall, Civil Lines, Gorakhpur

Saturday 20th February 2010 : 

17-30 hrs. : Annual Meeting of the Regional Grand Lodge of Eastern India. 
20-30 hrs. : Fellowship followed by Dinner.

Sunday 21st February 2010 :

8-30 hrs. : Breakfast
9-30 hrs. : Annual Convocation of the Regional Grand Chapter of Eastern India
11-00 hrs. : Tea/Coffee Break.
11-30 hrs. : Annual Meeting of the Regional Grand Mark Lodge of Eastern India.
13.00 hrs. : Fellowship followed by Lunch.The Registration charges for the Meetings are as given below:

Sponsors : Rs.3,000/-
(Dinner on 20th Lunch on 21st with spouse)
Patron/P.A.R.G.M. and above 
(Dinner on 20th Lunch on 21st with spouse) : Rs.1,500/-
Member Reception Committee
(Dinner on 20th Lunch on 21st for self only) : Rs.1,000/-

Cheque/Draft should be drawn in favour of RGL ANNUAL MEETING 2010 payable at Gorakhpur. Outstation payments are to be sent by Demand Draft only. 
Under By-law No.26 of the Regional Grand Lodge of Eastern India, no daughter Lodge shall hold a Meeting on the same date. No fee will be levied for grant of any Dispensation for such change of date of meeting being not more than fourteen days before or after the specified date. 
R.W. the Regional Grand Master desires that all Active and Past RGL Officers as defined under Rule 58 of the Book of Constitution and RGL By-law No.25 will attend Annual Meetings unless prevented by unavoidable circumstances.
All Master Masons are invited to attend the Meeting but are not entitled to vote. 
Please publish the date and place of the Annual Meetings in your summons till 20th February 2010.

Further to our RGL/RGC/RGML Cir. No.1/08 dated 24th March 2008 regarding Half-yearly Meetings of the Region, I am giving below the detailed programme of the Half-yearly Meetings as hereunder :

Saturday 09th August 2008 :
Venue : Shillong Club, (Residential) M. G. Road, Shillong.

17-00 for 17-30 hrs. : Half-yearly Meeting of Regional Grand Lodge of Eastern India.
20-30 hrs. : Fellowship followed by Dinner

Sunday 10th August 2008 :

9-00 for 9-30 hrs. : Half-yearly Convocation of the Regional Grand Chapter of Eastern India.
11-00 hrs. : Coffee Break
11-30 hrs. : Half-yearly Meeting of the Regional Grand Mark Lodge of Eastern India.
13-00 hrs : Fellowship followed by Lunch.
19.00 hrs. : Cultural Programme followed by cocktails and dinner hosted by Shillong Lodge No.61.

The Registration charges for the Meetings are given below :

Kindly share this information with all the Brethren of your Lodge and ensure that the same is printed on your summons till 08th August 2008.
R. W. the Regional Grand Master desires that all Active and Past Officers of the Regional Grand Lodge of Eastern India shall attend the Half-yearly Meetings. It is also mandatory for all Reigning Worshipful Masters to attend the Half-yearly Meetings of the Region.
A list of Hotels is also given alongwith this circular. Brethren desirous of having their hotels booked are requested to send one days advance together with their choice of hotel.
